Veronica Ruffato attended the Padua 'A. Modigliani' Art High School, followed by the Venice Fine Arts Academy, where she graduated in Painting. She then moved to central Italy to attend the Master’s course in Illustration at Ars in Fabula. Her first work was published by Aurelia edizioni and ELI. In 2018, Veronica was commissioned by publisher ZOOlibri to illustrate Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tales. The following year, this took her to the East and China, her Andersen plates selected for two important events: The China Shanghai International Children Book Fair, and the Beijing International Book Fair. In 2020, again with Reggio Emilia-based ZOOlibri, Veronica published a picturebook with text by Cristina Bellemo, author of numerous illustrated stories.
