Opera Prima Prize 2009-2023

Created in memory of Giovanni Lanzi, the Art Director creator of the BCBF logo, and now in its fifteenth edition, the Opera Prima section of the BolognaRagazzi Award was established to highlight debut works and provide a stage for young talents.

The new section proved an inspired choice, rapidly becoming an international success. The small number of titles submitted during the early years quickly rose to over 200 works now entered for the Opera Prima section. This year twenty of the best debut works are being showcased to the international publishing world.
