After graduating from high school, Michelangelo Rossato attended the Illustration course led by Flemish artist Carll Cneut at Ars in Fabula, investigated the world of images and photography at the European Institute of Design in Venice, and Octavia Monaco's Illustration course in Bologna. He completed his training in Macerata, where he followed the different paths proposed by Ars in Fabula. His graduation thesis became his debut book. He has consolidated his relationship with the Milanese publishing house Arka. As a freelance illustrator, Michelangelo is involved with new projects, creating work-shops for a range of target audiences, from primary schools to day centres and residential communities for disabled adults. He teaches Illustration at the School of Illustration in Macerata and at the Università Popolare di Borbiago, in the province of Venice.
