Internal Illustrations Samples
During the workshop, the formal aspects and visual language of the illustrated book were examined: storytelling, character construction, story setting. Furthermore, the most common illustrated book formats, according to age groups and narrative types they are intended to accommodate, were discussed. The theoretical concepts were immediately put to the test in the development of storyboards for the story "Zizah is different," allowing the group of illustrators to verify, hands-on, the complexity of developing a story through images.
